I'm right with you, I splurge on my season tkts but lots of away games are John and Eric on the radio for me, sometimes a sports bar if I really want to see it.Not like ESPN is free either. Cable is a cost that more and more people are choosing not to incur just to watch their favorite team. Missed out on multiple MNF games over the years because I choose not to have cable.
Every single NFL playoff game for years has been available on national OTA stations. Even the ones on ESPN the last couple of years were simulcast on ABC, I believe. This is clearly a test just to see how far fans are willing to go to watch their team and to prop up a bottom tier streaming service. Not sure I want to contribute to that, but I did pop for one month of NFL+ to watch the Germany game this year.
Side note. It seems like it has been harder to find the game on the radio in the DSM metro. Internet says 1700 AM/101.3 FM is the affiliate, but multiple Sundays I haven't heard it on there.
So for the Chiefs still no Brian Cook. Doesn't sound like McKinnon will be back this year. Wanya Morris still hasn't cleared concussion protocol. Other than that thought it looks like everyone will play. Donovan Smith back is huge..
Man, people weren't kidding about Miami's team, they are picking up guys off the street to try and get some kind of pass rush. And now a starting CB out against the Chiefs, both safeties not 100% and Ramsey isn't 100 %. I feel like if KC can get up on them early, Dolphins might just implode.
True, but like I said, Miami's defense is decimated right now. IGetting up early would require scoring points.
Something haven't done since first half of the Miami game.
Gonna be hard to find a place that isnt a sports bar for this one being on Peacock. I think The OP in Clive is the big Chiefs bar FYI. I recommend The Flying Mango any day of the week for dinner.Where is the best play to have dinner in the Des Moines area and watch the game? I don’t want to encourage the NFL to stream more games. If just me I would head to a sports bar. My bride will be with me and is not as much of a sports bar food person. Suggestions? In Johnston so could also do Ankeny.

Well, ...The field level cameras make it look like they’re playing in Antarctica.
I could have tracked that ball better than Hardman.
