NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Funny to come back in here and read the comments from last year before the end of season run and super bowl victory. A lot of same old Chiefs, and won't win the big one with Mahomes, and awful time management from Reid. Now they very well could go back to back super bowls. Team is very good. Hope Edwards-Helaire is alright.

Reid says the X-Rays on CEH were negative but more tests to be done. Says it was a hip/leg injury due to the nasty splits that happened.

Chiefs just through a difficult stretch with 3 of 4 road games against playoff caliber teams, and took them all. Should not need CEH for last 2 home games. Chargers might be a challenge as a division opponent. If chiefs hold the bye, he gets three full weeks to heal.
 
So who does everyone want in the divisional round?

For me its in the following order. I'd give the Browns next to zero chance of beating Pittsburg (due to just being Cleveland), and the Bills are playing too well for the Colts - so likely comes down to Ravens/Titans winner? Chiefs played Ravens well this year, but nice to avoid rematches if can avoid.

Ravens
Titans
 
I don't want any part of the Titans, I love Henry and he is a punishing runner so I want to avoid the toll he might take on the squad. Give me the Ravens. We own them.

I was reading an injury rehab update on CEH, article dated 1-1-21, a week ago, but said he was doing better than expected. Hope still he may be back. Don't know when or if yet. Any more current update on him?

The same article a week ago said L. Bell having trouble w/ knees. Might need some good luck on one or both of these guys. " ...both of the top running backs on the depth chart are dealing with injuries as Le’Veon Bell hasn’t practiced all week with knee swelling."

That with a make shift offensive line make me a little nervous. I’ve heard maybe a 30% chance of Mitchell Schwartz returning. They could really use him.
 
Chiefs laying 10 points for this game seems crazy. Browns are hot. I will take a 3 point win anyday. Would not touch that spread with ten foot pole.

OTHO - I thought OSU would cover against ALA and it was like boys v men. Not a game after 7-7.
 
Sounds like CEH will play. Schwartz will not. Sammy Watkins didn't practice yesterday...who knows with him.

Also, sure hope they show the stealth flyover on TV - the pilot is a Chiefs fan and is excited to get to do it.

Go Chiefs. RB L. Bell out first series. Don't know if he's out for game. RB Williams did great first series though, need him.

I wasn't watching pre-game closely, but I saw a breif replay of the stealth flyover at end of 1st Qtr.

I saw that, thanks. I was at my office during pregame so couldn’t watch then anyway.
