Anyone else watch this?

It follows a guy who believes he's part of a documentary about a real court trial, but everyone other than him is an actor.

It's funnier than it has any right to be.

James Marsden playing a caricature of himself is one of the best parts.

Just finished it. Loved it. It has a lot of Office-esque humor, with the added bonus of the Ronald thinking it's all real.

We still need to watch the last two episodes, but have laughed out loud a few times during each episode.

It's pretty funny. James Marsden playing an over the top himself is great.

It's kinda hard to believe it's all real though... You'd think the guy would question the whole being locked in a hotel without a cell phone for a week or two for jury duty thing.

Comedy Central had “The Joe Shmoe Show” at the beginning of reality tv era where one real guy got put in a mansion with actors and they messed with him all season. My friends and I loved it but it wasn’t popular.

When they kicked someone out of the mansion at the end of each episode they’d say “ashes to ashes, dust to dust, Stephanie you are dead to us” and smash a plate with her face on it in the fireplace.

That was a pretty wild show. It seemed genuine that Joe had no idea what was happening.

I just recently saw something on YouTube about the show. Pretty interesting. Kristen Wiig was on there, I did not remember that.

I enjoyed it. Marsden was great and hearing him in interviews since has been fun to watch too. Not sure they could have found a nicer person than Ronald

I rewatched this show on YouTube not too long ago. It was the sweet spot for reality TV. Not scripted and seemed genuine.

It’s awkward.. but a fun watch… I’d definitely suggest a watch if you’re in the fence.

I’d also love to see all of the unseen footage. Just give me the whole 3 week reel and watch it all play out!

Just binged it last week after a judge friend told me to watch it.

That dude was legitimately messed up by it. Read it took him years to get past it.

There is a line from that show that my buddies and I still laugh about: "respect her? Oh I respected all over her back!"
