Coach Fred has assembled quite a team in one year's time. Kudos to him for putting together a good team on paper.
Can't think of anytime in the recent past where ISU has put together the talent now on the roster and coming down the pipeline.
Now it's time to perform on the court!
2011-12.........21-11=top half of Big 12 and make it to the dance
2012-13.........27-9=runner up in Big 12 and round of 16
2013-14.........35-3=Big 12 champ and National Champs!!

Lay off the Boone's Farm Wine.

You're first sentence is very true. From there it gets a little too crazy.

Of course the predictions are off the wall, but what I see right now is a heavy JR class...especially when you add Lucious and Clyburn plus the chance that Royce White leaves early. I think that FH has set himself up for a decent year in 2011 and a better year in 2012, but a lot of things after that depend on guys that either haven't seen a minute yet or haven't signed yet. It would be nice to see Okoro in the fold plus maybe Abrahamson.

We have heard that Royce White is a great talent. But I think it is way to premature to think that he will leave early. Royce White has yet to score a point in college ball, and some have him as a lottery pick. Plus Royce White has to fend off the personal issues that have so far prevented him from seeing the court.

IMO, Royce White will play at least 2 years. Possibly even a 3rd season. The NBA just hast too many talented players to waste a lottery pick on a big question mark. And Royce White would be foolish to leave early unless he is a lottery pick IMO.

Bad language warning:

While the predictions may be a bit out there, isn't that was fans are supposed to do? Be passionate and want their teams to do the best? I, for one, believe there is a possiblility we could be that good. If we aren't, as long as we keep getting better, I will be happy. CFH has shown he can get the best out of his players, and if all our incoming recruits are as good as advertised, we could really shock some people.

There's passion and utter crazy talk.

Yep, ISU has a bunch of castoffs from other schools and they weren't necessarily great. Seems like a bunch of roleplayers...they are great to have but you need only one or two of those on a team.

I sure hope ISU makes it to the tourney, we need it!

Bump.

Not saying I agree with the National Championship in two more years, but a lot of you were all over him for the predictions he gave. That 21-11, top half of the Big XII this year is not looking so crazy now, is it?

I only hope we can continue to show improvement from our guys this year, and hope for a strong finish to the year and even more sucess next season!
