Doesn't the crowd have a much more Purple look to it than Blue? It does to me. Must have been playing KSU that game.
HAHA
I went to a K-State game at Memorial in 2013, and the KSU fans were quite a bit louder than KU. I was embarrassed for KU.

Obvious photoshop. There's never been that many fans in the place.

Kansas' stadium looks like it could be a large Texas Highschool stadium.
The Berry Center in the Cy-Fair District (Houston Suburb) includes an arena and stadium for its 10 high schools.

These are the two I've seen which could be considered even close to college level.

While we're at it, can someone post a daily photo of the Jack Trice Webcam?
By setting, I mean campus being on a hill overlooking the stadium, and the area generally being surrounded by trees and grassy area.

[/QUOTE]What always gets left out of the Texas high school stadium comments is the number of schools who share it. I noticed you mentioned it but most do not.
Can you imagine what 10 big school districts in iowa could do if they shared a facility?
They are impressive though.

The pooling of resources like that is pretty smart IMO. Imagine if the western suburbs of DM pooled together and built a truly elite HS stadium (Valley doesn't count) and have a Friday & Saturday doubleheader. Thats how it works down here.
There was talk that Des Moines could build a new stadium for all its schools last year, dont know if there were

The only stadium that matters (Friday morning update):

Still wondering how they're going to get that crane out.
I love this camera version, how its so much steeper than what it actually is. Its too bad JTS wasn't built more vertical like this shows, rather than horizontal like it actually is. The atmosphere and crowd noise would be so much better. The only stadium that matters (Friday morning update):
