Not surprising if true but think I'll wait to hear something from ISU. Wonder if we'll hear anything official before gametime?

Sort of running through organizations like wildfire and college teams are no exception. A number of Big 12 teams have been hit with missing players, postponements, missed practice etc. Was hoping it won't impact the Big 12 race but it really already has to some extent.

Can we win without them?

Yes.

I was thinking Ashley would be getting to the line a lot tonight against Texas, so that is a pretty big loss. She is also good about commanding a lot of attention and freeing up the shooters outside.

The rest of the team can step up and still win this, though. This will force them to be more active on offense and swing the ball around quicker. We'll need big games from our posts.

Maybe. If Ryan was out, versus their press, I'd say we lose for sure. We have no backup point guard so Ryan is indispensable. We at least will have a shot but that's 60 minutes of time to fill with Diew and MEM and Maggie is likely still under some sort of minutes restriction. With Fritz already out we are REALLY thin at guard/wing. If we start Espenmiller-McGraw and Diew who do you sub in for them? Might have to get Frederick in for some minutes. All of that assumes that Fritz doesn't surprise us all and play tonight.

FYI: Hearing the whole team will be available on Saturday at Baylor. So that's a plus.
Yeah, with the isolation down to 5 days, players are coming back after missing 2 games at most. Just bad timing for Texas, but back to full Saturday is a good thing. A few days of rest for Ashley isn't a bad thing either...

Baylor game is on Sunday, not Saturday so an extra day.
