I don't think LaTroy has ever really been that bad outside of the closer role...

I don't think starters are stretched out enough yet to go 7 or 8 innings. So I would say 3 or 4 innings for a starter.

In 2006, Clemens and Peavvy both averaged around 4ip per start.

I really enjoyed the WBC a couple of years ago and now I'm really pumped. Joel met up with the team today, they take on the Yankees tomorrow. They seemed to gel pretty well and it should be alot of fun to watch...

Have they said anything for who's pitching against Canada Saturday?

I think he said it will go Peavvy, Oswalt, Lilly. Canada's pitching is crushed by injuries so they really shouldn't be a factor.
