So whats up with Rivals not showing Joe King as the commit that everyone knows he is....has there been another "MISUNDERSTANDING" or is it intentional that the information was leaked by the tv stations and now its not known for sure???

Just curious as to why he's not showing on our commit list yet???

know what???? That King has committed, well it was acknowledged on a thread titled "New Years Day Commitment" several days ago and it was indicated by CYKING that news channel 5 had indicated that ISU had gained the commitment from Joe King of Oklahoma.
 
I asked this question on the CR confidential board a few days ago and I guess Paul Clark hasn't been able to get ahold of King to verify and he won't update the commitment list until he gets a verification from the player himself.

THE IRONIC PART OF THAT CYPACK WAS THAT THE HEADER ON NEW YEARS DAY SAID THAT HE WAS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH HIM NEW YEARS MORNING AND CONFIRM IT....THATS WHY I WAS A BIT MISUNDERSTOOD.....

MAYBE ITS NOT JOE KING, OR MAYBE THE STAFF DON'T WANT THAT OUT THERE AND KEEP OTHERS SUCH AS KANSAS FROM CONTACTING HIM AS SOON AS THE DEAD PERIOD ENDS.

I do feel we have a few surprises over the next month. I've noticed some names popping up on rivals as prospects that have not been on there before....

I'm sure as with other schools, there will be some confidential recruiting information that gets kept even from CR to ensure that other schools are not shown potential studs without doin the work....from last years class James Carpenter, Big Trey and a few others committed in the last week before signing day....

I see this happening again!!!!!! Exciting time of the year for our football team, the guys we get now will be out there battling in a year or two for our clones.....

I'm taking Signing day off!!!!!!!!!!
 
Hadnt been on Rivals or CR in several days, has anyone else noticed that all the prospects have been removed.....that must be premium info too.....
 
i noticed it. bj daniels took us off his list as well. hopefully were recruiting some kids that arent on the list. i also noticed a new kicker on the list, he is from cali and has so cal on his list. i doubt we offer but apparently were still recruiting kickers. we really need to get some d lineman and hopefully an athletic reciever
 
They are just cleaning up the database. Either those guys took us off their list or we moved on. Nothing more to it than that

The "Him" was King's head coach. That is where the info came from.

Paul Clark, Cyclone Report: Hey John, I want to let you know that we got really big commitment for you to report.

John Walters, Channel 5 News: Oh yeah, who?

Paul Clark: Just Joking!

John Walters: Joe King!?! I can't wait to get the news of this commit out.... Bye.

Coming this spring- New Commit: April Fools commits to ISU Women's B-ball.
 
I'm a subscriber to CR. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't giving anything away. But if it's already been reported then I can tell you Paul has left several messages on King's cell but hasn't got a response yet. He is waiting to hear from him before he lists him.

i think they try and update those lists about once a month. surprised that daniels name stayed on there as long as it did. also noticed presley is no longer interested.

It was reported in the Ames Trib also. What are their sources? hard to say.
