Hadn't seen this posted. Cyclone signee Jirehl Brock won the Don Morris Award, based on athletics, academics and community service. Outstanding young man coming to Ames soon.

"A lot of people see Jirehl the athlete and a lot of opposing coaches hear stories about how great he is off the field and they ask you if it's all true," QHS boys basketball coach Andy Douglas said. "The fact is, yes, it's all true. The kids just does it all.

"He's great in the classroom. He's great on the football field and on the basketball court. More than that, he understands the importance of reaching out to younger kids and being there to help them along."

Our two 4-start RB recruits also seem to be A-class people too. Very nice.
