Definitely silliness, but it's earned silliness. Just need to keep playing intensely and see where it shakes out. Start of the Big 12 will be a HUGE test.
Saw that and probably a bit too ambitious, lol....BUT, if what we are doing is showing up to experts via stats and the "eye test" I'll take it.

A month ago the NIT would have been really great so if the tourney happens everyone should be ecstatic.
Not sure how I'd feel about an NIT bid now with this start but the next 2-3 months are going to be a slog and it would still at least mean a decent overall season, and one much better than projected.
Maybe Palm has always valued defense? Not defending the guy, but ISU has gotten a lot of dark horse f4 love and haven't come through previously.

And why would anyone base it on anything other than the résumé to date? Especially in the era of immediately eligible transfers, “last year” is always going to be irrelevant from now on. Obviously we won’t end up #1, but like you said so far it’s legit.
