the trophy is the 4th place XC from 2020 and the jerseys are still the same. Hoping to see a new gold next year. We wear all 3 colors in tops and have cardinal, gold and black bottoms (used for XC).
You realize that when combined, XC, Indoor and Outdoor track put ISU 4th in the nation is program success? We flopped at NCAA outdoors this year but our program is a top 10- top 20 program and the XC team is a podium contender if everyone returns.
Sudbury getting the job helps retain top talent already here and he can still lean on Martin when need for advice on workouts. It was a weird Covid season so I am giving him a pass on workouts- just not on being an ass to everyone
Rescheduling of XC championships forced the distance runners to choose what they were going to peak for. Trying to be your best at every meet when there were so many championships close together was just too much.
It's been a month since Sudbury took over the director's job. He has added three transfers including two All-Americans and hired four new assistants.

XC Team has a potential podium team with Kiptoo, Sugira, Pollard, Rop, Sieperda, Too and Ryan Ford.
Women have am XC team that could win the conference lead by Logue and Tutt. Recruiting needs to pick up for the women as there is a massive hole coming after this year.
Too early to tell for track as we don't really know who else might be coming.
O'Mara is an elite coach- the others are youthful and energetic and should help to recruit.
