On ESPN this morning they stated his alibi was this:

I was in my room at the Bellagio around 5:30 in the morning when I heard knocking on my door.

knock knock

I opened the door

creek

There stood three men with guns.

click click

They knocked me out

thud

Stool my money and jewelry

Cha Ching

Drug me from my room to a car,

Vroom

Dropped me off a few miles from the hotel.

Thud Again

That's where I was found.

You have to assume that is this were the truth we would have some video tape footage of this from the hotel. It's not like this is the super savor in Spencer, IA. It's kind of a high class joint. I don't think you can just drag a pro football player through the lobby without anyone noticing.

I guess he also never thought to look through the peep hole to see who was knocking on his door.

What an idiot.

Jesus. Guy gets beat up and mugged, spends a couple nights in a hospital and here we have some people using words like "alibi" and "idiot".

Like the guy or not... don't understand why you're throwing him under a bus.

Sorry. I guess if someone knocked on the door of my hotel room at 5 a.m., even if I was drunk, I'd probably look to see who it was. Seems like a common sense thing.

And who's to say he didn't? You think he knew they had guns before he opened the door? I bet not.

We both have our opinions on this, but I would be guessing that your right, he didn't see the guns. More than likely, if these guys did this to him, he also had no idea who they were, which might be another reason to not answer the door.

There is just alot of this that doesn't make any sense....

If there were 3 men outside my hotel door at 5am and wasn't expecting guests, I'd call the front desk to ask who they are.

He probably thought it was George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon seeing if he wanted to be in Oceans 14.

I'm just saying I don't know if I believe the story. That's all.

How do you drag someone unconscious out of the Belaggio to your car without anyone stopping to see what's going on?

I'm sure whoever put the time and energy to do something like this probably didn't drag him down the elevator, past the blackjack tables, through the lobby, and pick up the getaway car from the valet.

As you said, there are cameras everywhere in hotels like that. For his story to hold up, he and the thugs would have to be caught on a bunch of them.

I'm not going to try to punch holes in Walker's account because I wasn't there (honest!), but IF that story is true, Walker got jumped by the dumbest thugs in the world. "All right! He's unconscious! No, don't leave him in the room where he won't be found for several more hours! Let's carry him to the elevator, across the casino floor, and down to our car so that we can dump him on the street!"

Accoriding the policy officer in court today, it went down like this:

Lt. Clinton Nichols said Walker spent several hours club-hopping late June 15 and early June 16 before "willingly" getting into Fadel's black Range Rover with Fadel and the other alleged assailant.
"The suspects knew who Mr. Walker was. He did not know who they were," Nichols said Tuesday, and added that Walker "probably had a little too much to drink."

Not sure when he was in his hotel room at 5:00 am in this situation.
