so during the pep rally today Jamie Pollard mentioned that he won’t be at the big 12 basketball tournament for the next 5 yrs. I haven’t heard why tho.

He is going to be on the selection committee for the next 5 years.
He's going to be on the NCAA tournament selection committee, so he has to be other places.
