Was Captain Kirk of Star Trek a Cyclone?
Yes, I believe he was.
Captain Kirk new that he could win any battle, and had the courage to lead when the going was tough. Coach Rhoads know we are going to need this kind of attitude to win this year.
This year the football schedule will be demanding,
and you as football fans may question the outcome.
Captain Kirk would stand up and say;
yes we can beat Iowa,
yes we can beat Utah,
yes we can beat Texas Tech,
yes we can beat Missouri,
this is Captain Kirk's Cyclone spirit calling out to you.
No we will not win all 12 games, but this year Iowa State will hunt down top 25 teams. I predict we will beat 3 top 25 teams and return to a bowl game.
Don't be afraid that we will loose to Northern Illinois.
Just remember last year there were doubts before the season started with South Dakota St. We know that we will get our wins out of Kansas, Kansas State, and Colorado.
This will be a fun year to go and see the team. So be sure to make plans to go now. When that Iowa or Nebraska fan gets too obnoixous at the office,
let them know they should be afraid, we will be hunting them this season.
