Jack Trice

I hope ISU can further celebrate the Trice legacy and the fact that our stadium has had his name on it for 23 years. Loved Randy’s article and I hope momentum on Trice continues to build.

I think the 23 years is very important, ISU made the right choice before we got to this age of virtue signalling and pandering. This should make us all proud to be Cyclones!
 
I have to admit, I finally found a Jamie Pollard decision I didn’t like.

A while back (last year, iirc) I suggested to Jamie that ISU play Minnesota on the 100th anniversary of the original Jack Trice game.

Jamie said no.

His primary reason was that it with Iowa already on the schedule, another P5 game would make for too tough of a preseason schedule.

And he has to keep Matt Campbell happy.

I wasn’t terribly happy with that reasoning. Under the current circumstances, I think it should be reconsidered.

Yes, I know it’s relatively short term now. Still doable.

Do you really think that Minnesota would even agree to such a thing, knowing the reason?

I've seen it suggested on here before, but I think it would be great if they had a reading of his letter before each game over the loud speakers.

Yes. They’d be helping to publicize how things have changed.

Or are you implying that people who weren’t alive a hundred years ago should somehow still be guilty?
