J Miller show thurs (10/23)

on occassion I'll stream in KXNO to hear the local slant on Iowa sports... today J Miller is doing the coming weekends college football pics. There is some guest named "wolfgang" that is part of the pick competition. Who in the bleep is this guy? talks like he is a jim rome clone... and of course had some great blasts making fun of how Troy and Darren Davis talked... and then questions Troy's IQ.... Dude was completely classless when talking about the Darren and Troy. Sure, make fun of the program, the hard times the team has had.. but his comments were above and beyond what should be tolerated on Miller's show.
 
I am not a fan of stuff like that, and if you listened to the segment, you could tell that, and that will be addressed.

Serious Jon I stopped listening on Thursday also. He is a complete jerk and he seriously gives Hawk fans a bad name.
 
That idiot also stated the Rag was running an article accusing Pollard of being a racist because of hiring McD and Cael after firing Morgan and Bobby Douglas. He said that Cael has taken ISU backwars in wrestling. I loved Bobby but he never won a Big 12 title, which Cael did in year 1 along with runner-up at nationals.
 
I rarely catch the show, I have to be out of the office in the middle of the day and driving (so this is like 3 times a year) but I did hear this guy once. I seriously hope he doesn't get any compensation to come on the radio.

Did the guy happen to mention that fountain of knowledge Fred Russell? Didn't he score a 9 on the Wonderlic test? Granted, I think TD scored a 6 or something like that, but I think somebody should remind this guy about glass houses and such.

Also, amazing how cocky Iowa fans get when they beat winless teams in their conference.

Troy may not have been the brightest, but at least he didn't have to transfer out to a JUCO mid career to stay eligible ala Shonn Greene.

There is no story there, and JP should attack that one right away. I hate racism with a passion, but I hate false accusations of racism just as much. I rarely think violence is the answer, but when people make up stuff like that I do think it may indeed be go time. Sometimes you just have to make people pay the idiot tax.

I completely agree. Everytime I hear Wolfgang, I want to injure someone.

In true hawkeye fashion, I'm sure his wrist will be lightly slapped, and then he will receive a promotion/performance bonus....
 
Funny they want to pick on the Davis brothers when they have their own scholar running the ball in their back field. Maybe they need to listen to a Shonn Greene interview before they start bashing others. Typical Eastern Iowa Junior College fans.
