Gods Country (Ames), Iowa
Thursday 7pm: Wrestling - ISU vs Northern Ill
Friday 8pm: MBB - Cyclone Classic
Saturday 11am: FB - ISU vs Colorado
Saturday 8pm: MBB - Cyclone Classic
Sunday 1pm: WBB - ISU vs Pepperdine
Sunday 4pm: WVB - ISU vs Nebraska (Pack Hilton!)

Anyone else running the gauntlet?? My brother and I plan to attend every event!:chatterbox:

You're already behind. Volleyball beat Baylor last night in a 3-2 thriller.

I'll be at all of those events PLUS the 5:30 BB games on Fri/Sat. Unfortunately, because of the Saturday schedule, I won't be able to get to the Rec for the wrestling tournament.

I've considered taking a job out of the state, but I don't think I could miss weekends like this! I'll be content living in Ames at least for awhile longer... travel expeses would get sorta high if I moved...

We're hitting both men's basketball games and the football game - season tix.

If my Cowboys were no playing Sunday afternoon, I'd consider going to the VB game to test out themy camera's zoom...I mean...root on our Cyclones. :)

REALLY want to hit the Wrestlers tonight, but that's a function of how much of my Propulsion and Astro gets done this afternoon. Don't know about the first MBB game, have to pick up people sometime around the 9-10 timeframe, so if they're on time, I'm gonna have to skip.

Colorado and second game of Cyclone Classic are definite 'yes'

Sunday I'm watching the Packer/Viking game until 3, then I'll be in line for KU/Iowa tickets the rest of the afternoon. Really wish I could catch the Husker game.

Im debating whether or not to stay for the bball game. You can buy tickets at Hilton right?

Well, one event down and five to go!

The 'raslers' came out strong tonight. I know they were paired up with niu...

Artist is the only opportunity for now, but for a first ever match, he may have been a little nervous.

Reader was everything he's been hyped up to be. That kid is crazy.

I have to admit, this is the first year I've ever had season tickets to wrestling. Is it always that quiet in there?? The announcer was practically begging for people to cheer.

I'm not looking forward to another drawn out day at work tomorrow waiting for the Bball game.... see ya all there!

Basically. Wrestling is a sport all it's own though. Instead of being loud as hell, it's more yelling "let's go XXXXX" or "Turn it!!" "Shoot!" etc. The wrestlers tend to need to hear their coaches, instead of the crowd, during the match.

Also, a majority of the people there were wrestlers in high school or college, or were coaches of wrestling. There tend to be more people knowing the ins and outs of the sport than others.

I just got home from Hilton. Holy cow, do you guys normally get that huge of a crowd for volleyball?
