It's been 1,048 days since Iowa beat Iowa State in football....

In before some closet hawk comes in and ridicules you for your obsession with Iowa. :twitcy:

"How dare you speak ill of our rival... we should all be Hawk fans 364 days of the year because it is good for the Iowa economy. After all, Iowa fans support Iowa State as long as they aren't playing Iowa, so why shouldn't ISU fans do the same for Iowa?" (or some garbage like that)
 
And I like our chances this year.....Should not take times like these for granted. I remember the dark days when they could never lose like it was yesterday.
 
I would surprised if we lose to them this year. But, everytime I feel like I know who is going to win, I'm never right. Thus, should be a tough tough game. Let's hope the bye week before helps keep our guys healthy and focused on one team.

I dunno about that. It sounds like some people's lives revolve around Iowa--one way or another. I mean, why bother noticing?

Do you count how many days, hours and minutes since you've taken out the trash? Just curious.
