I was kinda surprised how sour Iowa fans are about GameDay choosing Ames. Nothing pisses them off more than "little brother" getting attention. I love it.
I know Campbell doesn't play up the underdog role, but we better take the field with a chip on our shoulder. Iowa thinks it's going to rain on our parade, and its fans think they're going to win by 3 TDs. Not going to lie, I want this one more than usual.
They've also twisted it as CGD only picking it because of them, which was very predictable.

They cannot digest the fact that how the national media puts both schools on the same pedestal even though they have better program history
Yeah I had to laugh at the thought that ESPN picked this game solely because of noted dynamic media darlings, Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa Hawkeyes. I saw it as a nice feather in the cap for the rivalry, but Iowa fans just can't accept the fact that Iowa State and Campbell is a good story.
