ISU thuggery?

They really posted the address and number of his family? What a bunch of pathetic mouthbreathers and internet tough guys.

Klein is a class act and his family that posts on here is as well. The kid is the definition of hard working and tough nosed and what I want representing Iowa State.

My respect for the entire Nebraska fan base drops immensely if this is true. There is a point where you step back and remember it's a game, this blows right past that line.

It was done in a thread on the Nebraska Rivals board. It was deleted once an administrator saw it, so I'm not really sure how long it was up.

Guess I will have to disagree with many. Given the speed at which that was happening he sure could have known what he was grabbing onto and that he was basically trying to pull the kid backwards by his neck. That plus the fact that he is doing so while standing well past the goal line and any movement was useless anyway made that play pretty low class and unnecessary. I'm not saying the guys awful, but the play kinda was.

Disagree. Can't see how you could make that assertion - especially since his view was blocked and these plays happen very, very fast.

We are watching it over and over again in slo-mo thanks to the animated .gif, therefore it looks much slower than what really happened. Very easy to over-analyze.

Same fan base that tried to justify the hit on the kick return
against OSU. Back to this game the face-rape on AA clearly
had intent to cause injury.

As a Nebraska fan, i'm speechless that something like that actually happened and is why I just stay clear of the Nebraska Rivals boards, those guys are WAY OUT there.

Im gonna be honest and say that was absolutely deplorable. He obviously knew what he was doing especially with the right knee to the side of the head after he had already wrenched the kids neck. He knew exactly what he had ahold of and what he was doing.

You are joking, right?

It was a little rough... I like my defenders a little rough and nasty, look forward to seeing Klein after a couple more years in the weight room. He and the defense seem to be getting a little tougher and more nasty with each game.

That's it? I hadn't seen the play before and was expecting something much worse like the play on Austin on the fumble/no fumble play.

Same here, I saw it from the stands then saw it again on tape. Neb player throws roundhouse to helmet/face mask and no big deal, WTF.

In retaliation of them posting A.J. Kliens family members address and phone numbers I will now post Thunder Collins parents names and numbers since he out thugs Mr. Klien. Anyone know what Prison he is in?

How bout he little d-bag benny cotton. Talk about a kid giving extra hits after the whistle. I was hoping LJ would smack him upside the head and give up the 15. That punk needed to be dropped.

Who's benny cotton?

How bout just this then, if you are standing well into the end zone it is too ******* late to try and drag someone out. It happens fast on the field is not always an adequate excuse.

Nebraska fans are just upset that one of their players got suspended for a call they saw was just a normal hit. They feel like they are being singled out and are therefore looking for any little thing to find so other players can get suspended on onther teams as well. They are just bitter that one of their players got suspended and no one else did or has.

Watch it at full speed and I think you see Klein push with his knee at the same time the whistle blows. not only that but it doesn't take all that long. Klein is just trying to keep Burkhead out of the endzone. It should have been a facemask penalty but it wasn't mailicious

Between this quote and your signature, it doesn't seem like you know very much about football.

Anyone can look at this and say "ISU is playing dirty ball" But the truth is, They will never know the banter that went on, ON the field that day. Nebraska cant keep their mouths shut on the field, and when you put emotion into a game, and you want to win, sometimes you make irrational decisions in the heat of the moment.

Young guys that want to win get provoked and, tempers can flare. Its pretty simple.

Ill say that AJ Klein is an upstanding person, he works hard, and has worked hard to get where he is today. He is a good student on and off of the football field.

ISU got caught with their hand in the cookie jar when in fact, NU had already stolen most of the cookies.

Put it to rest, this loss hurt. Its over, Lets win out.

Hard to say either way, when you're looking at a .gif of it in slow-mo without any audio.

Looks dirty in that, but I'd like to see a longer, at-speed clip with audio before passing any sort of judgment.

Correct.

It was a PF and should have been called. Now lets go back and call the 5 PFs on NU that were not called and see how the game ends. NU was constantly hitting WRs after the play was over and the PF on AA when he 'Fumbled' was much worse that this and he is a QB and should always get the benefit of the doubt.
