According to police, no foul play is suspected.

Just spitballing here but either something natural like a heart attack (which would be odd at 21 years old) or suicide.

Yes he was a criminal justice major..and was going to double major in HDFS

It wasn't suicide and no foul play

And yes, I believe he was a ref for intramurals, and he worked at the rec

Did they ever say what happened to Shane? Just saw on Facebook that the Rec Services dept presented an award in his honor to their top student employee and as a former Recster, was curious as to why/who the award was in honor of. His brother's face is vaguely familiar. Google gave me an obituary, sounds like he was a great person.
