Interesting link posted by on Twitter. Breaks down all FBS schools by the size of the fan base and where the fan base is strongest on a US map very interesting. They have ISU with the 52nd largest fanbase. We don't beat many teams from other BCS conferences, only northwestern, vanderbilt, maryland, nc state, wake forest, kstate, baylor, colorado, arizona, oregon st, utah, standford, washington st, USF, cincinnatti and louisville

Great article!

It's also linked on the mega-thread.

Thanks for posting, State4Good, and for the good descriptive title. A few people I've seen get bent out of shape about where everything is right now, but that's going to happen with all the activity. Things are buried quickly in the big thread, and I have no problem with new ones for particular purposes.

Thanks caustic217 also for the link to the other discussion.

How did they determine the size of the fanbase?

So here is a better question. If we are the 52nd largest fan base (with the limited success we have actually had), I wonder if someone put together a composite or as I would call it, "the Cubbie coefficient," to determine who has the largest fan base with the least amount of College Football success, would we be #1?
