ISU - Nebraska Game

This will probably be a very short lived thread. I did not see it on the ISU website, but for the Nebraska game, is there the Gold Rules deal going on? I just wanted to make sure so we could get the correct shirts ordered in time for the game.

Maybe this time our fans will actually wear the right colored shirts. This is obviously a great concept, but the fans need to step up and wear gold. I think Pollard should consider handing out gold shirts to fans who aren't wearing gold before the game. I don't know if this is possible or not as I don't know what the cost would be.
 
Iowa didn't do so hot with the Black out Saturday. The rain hurt some of it but even at the end, it wasn't close to a blackout...

Anyone seen any gold polo's with the new logo?

COLLEGE FOOTBALL : Virginia Tech's game at Nebraska on Sept. 27 will air as part of ABC's regional prime-time package at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

The end zone looked impresseively black for the Hawks.

T galaxy for $22. Not bad looking but its a tradition polo and not the mesh type ones.
 
IIRC, golden rules was a success two years ago when the Huskers visited.

I also think last year there was inclement weather which caused a problem with the golden rules (texas game?)... Cardinal rules went well though, didn't it?!?

T-Galaxy had a really cool Tommy Hilfiger one. It was cardinal with horizontal white pinstripes. It was in the neighborhood of $70 though.
 
The only reason why the Gold Rule's game 2 years ago against Nebraska was successful was because they handed out free t-shirts to the student section.

Don't expect the same level of success this year. Cardinal Rule's game was good this year but not great. A lot of people own Cardinal. Not so many people own Gold.
 
IMHO unless you plan on giving out gold t-shirts, this game needs to be against another opponent. Maybe KU, or TT. With the amount of knu fans that do make the game, and the ISU fans that dont get the memo, I think we actually look kind of rediculous doing this:nah: Dont get me wrong, I love the concept:wink: Just think we need to figure out a better way to execute it!!
 
Heck I would just be happy of our fans wore red or yellow to every game instead of the blue/gray/pin/green colors you see every week.
