I understand it's highly unlikely to happen, but this seems like a value pic? Bet $10 to win $1K.

I put $10 down the day before and locked in at +15,000. I bet on Iowa +1 today against Nebraska, so that's fueling this long shot. Good luck all. Any way it goes, bball should be fun at least to watch

Weren’t we picked for last in the Big 12 the year we went to the Elite 8 with Fizer and Tinsley?

In Tim Floyd’s second year, ISU was predicted to finish last in the conference, but finished second — and won the Big 8 tournament 56-55 against regular-season champion Kansas. Listening to games on the radio was like listening to a football game, with opponents facing single-digit leads seemingly insurmountable against the defensively-minded Cyclones. In Floyd’s first year, he started with the strong, senior-led team left by Johnny Orr (Hoiberg etc.).

… Following the graduation of four starters from the 1994–95 Cyclones, Tim Floyd replenished his roster with several junior college and Division I transfers. Four of the 1995–96 team's starters had not been part of the ISU roster during the prior season, with sophomore point guard Jacy Holloway being the lone exception. Dedric Willoughby transferred to Iowa State from the University of New Orleans, and Kenny Pratt, Shawn Bankhead, and Kelvin Cato each transferred from junior colleges to play for the Cyclones. The 1995–96 Cyclones finished with a 24–9 overall record, a second-place 9–5 conference record, and the final Big Eight tournament championship—the first conference tournament championship in Cyclone basketball history—with a 56–55 victory over Roy Williams' Kansas Jayhawks. . . .
