I thought this also. Nice seeing people talk good about Cyclone basketball. I am just trying to keep my head level and not drink all the Kool-Aid. But dang, I look into those dreamy eyes of Coach Hoiberg and I say bring on the Kool-Aid!!
Can't wait for basketball season.
 
I am looking forward to basketball season. I think ISU has a chance to finish in the top 3 of the conference, one thing that scares me though is the PG position. I sure hope this does not come back to haunt this team.

ISU needs to get into the tourney. The school needs it, the team needs it and I think all of Cyclone Nation deserves it.

I think it's a little strong to say we NEED to get into the tourney. I think the NCAA would be an amazing accomplishment in year two. It's definitely possible, but I don't think we should be expecting it.

In 2005 with Stinson, Blaylock, Homan, Clark, et. al. we were a 9 seed (meaning we were probably one of the last 10 or so teams in). I think it's a lot to EXPECT this team would be as good as that team or better.

Again, they definitely could be and it appears they have the talent to do it. But to expect it seems a bit much to me.

After what we watched for 4 years when Mac was here, we really need to get back to the tourney. If it weren't for our loyal fanbase and the hiring of Fred, Hilton would be empty.

Yeah, and I can't remember the exact number but quite of few of those losses we had the lead with only a couple mins left. Very frustrating to say the least. Just ran out of gas and made some stupid mistakes. Hopefully that is fixed this year, and I think it will be.
