ISU MBB on College Gameday - Maybe

WVU has a pretty easy non-con schedule. Texas plays UConn, Kentucky, and Stanford.

Seems weird to me to have a flex so early in the season, but I'm guessing it's mostly them waiting to see if UT is the real deal or not - or maybe if we are the real deal or not.

They announce all the game days before the season starts.

Also, this didn't need another thread

I don't think this is right; if I remember right last year had a Pac-12 flex game in it. One of them was a Colorado game. I don't remember the details other than that, but there was a flex. Maybe ESPN is expanding the number of flex games this year for Gameday.

P.S. It is always the creator of the first thread who is the only one that cares about there being an extra thread

I can't see ESPN ever doing Gameday for a Big 12 game where KU isn't involved.

I have to think we are the preferred option right now. KU > UT and ISU > WVU in terms of draw. As long as we don't blow it in the non-con, the crew should be coming to Ames.

Wow is it really even a question which game to show. Ku in ames with hilton magic in full force and two power teams or a game with a mid b12 team @ an empty texas gym

The only flex last year was Arizona vs. Colorado OR UCLA vs. Stanford.

I was referring to if it was ISU/KU and Tex/WV being a flex until a certain point in season. Thinking ISU gets that it that way.
If they are announcing before the season, I am still confident ISU gets gameday between the two games.

Non-KU Gamedays with Big 12 teams:

Texas @ OSU (2005)
Texas @ Oklahoma (2006)
Oklahoma @ Texas (2009)
Texas @ Baylor (2011)

Pretty easy to pick out the other team ESPN adores.

That's more than I thought it would be, however, those are all rivalry games. What is WVU-Texas?

Thats when texas was actually good. Not saying they aren't this year but playing wv in front of probably 7000 fans. Is there even a question who should get GameDay. If texas gets it it would show obvious favoritism
