Fanatics -

Need some help looking for a old ISU logo, well not so old I guess. It would be the simple Cy and I-State logos that were two color only - which made the I-State logo quite different.

It used to be under a PDF on ISU's Athletic Identity page, however was removed for the new Cy logo. If anyone has this black and white logo, or the two color version I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

I just finished this in my garage, it is 5' 6" tall and 7' 6" wide. I got the paint at Sherwil Williams.

Very well done. I've always thought about doing a similar project on my sliding garage door here in Ames....but fear my attention to detail may not make it look near as good as yours! You should go "for hire" to the Fanatics....nice little side job.

That is awesome. How difficult was it? I would love to do something like that but I am not an artist. But I was always good a coloring and staying within the lines.

Stencil out the logo with lines for all of the different colors/shading on a piece of clear plastic and then use a projector to blow the image up as large as you want it on your wall. Then trace again on the wall so you have all the lines you need to to color within!

It was not near as diffucult as it looks. I spent less than a 15 hours on it (not staight). It was way easier than these 2. The KC logo was way more difficult than it looks, and the Harley Davidson was an absolute nightmare.

That is the easiest way to do them. But you need a good steady hand to get the lines as straight as possible.

I have enough paint left over for probably 6 more logos that size if anyone is interested PM me.
