Congrats to ISU athletes Lisa Koll and Betsy Saina who finished first and second in the NCAA Track and Field Championship 10,000 meters. Semehar Tesfaye from ISU finished 19th.

Koll was on the front page today. She is an absolute STUD! Hard to not root for her in life.

Koll has a great career ahead of her - wouldn't be surprised to see her in red, white and blue in 2012. Great job ladies!

It is also nice to see that we have quality competitors at these distances for the next couple of years to cushion the blow of losing a talent like Lisa.

That is awesome. In the gloom and doom mode of our program, it is wonderful to see news like this in a low-dollar sport. Regardless of fan participation, all of our athletes represent our university and they all make us proud. It's by far not the end of the world.

Keep it up ladies! We are proud of you.
