We didn’t even beat them by 33 last year when we were playing better and Kansas was worse than this year. So not entirely sure we can cover that.

I'm laying the points. I see Manning and company padding the season stats by running up the score.

That's what people said about UNLV.

We aren't a top 10 team, but fans acting like we're terrible need to get a grip.

Well that's kinda the problem. We don't know how to judge this team. We've won against an FCS team and presumably the worst FBS team. And we lost all to all our P5 competition. So we can't really say what we are. Even if we steamroll Kansas by 50, we still can't know for sure.

UNLV kept up with, and almost won, at Fresno State last week.
Thru the first half I thought they may take that game.
Someone posted there was an instant line then of -6.5 Fresno, then I said I would still take Fresno to cover that.

I actually thought for as bad as UNLV is their sideline energy @ Fresno was decent.

I haven't seen many say we're terrible, I've seen some they have no idea how good or bad we really are. Until we can show some sort of offensive consistency, stop killing ourselves on ST, and play a complete game outside of Vegas, it's going to be hard to bet on the Cyclones. That doesn't mean they are incapable of doing great, but they need to prove it.

I've watched 3 UNLV games and 2 Fresno State games this year. UNLV looked like a completely different team, like something clicked. I think UNLV and Kansas are actually pretty close right now. Neither are going to win much, but both have the ability to play a few games closer than some may expect. However, against solid D like ISU's, Kansas is pretty one dimensional.
