I'm fine with it... sure UNI and WSU shouldn't be there ... but hey, top 12.. looking for a solid 3 seed and a potential 2 seed.

UNI - a commanding 1-1 against Top 50 RPI. TWO top 50 games.

Iowa State - 11-4 against Top 50 teams.

sounds right

ISU is #9 in the only ranking that means anything.

ISU proves more almost every week than WSU has all year. Is a single quality win too much to ask? It's not like WSU is undefeated, they're 0-3 vs doesn't-suck-university.

I think we should probably be a bit higher, but let's enjoy just another great week in the top 15. The NCAA seeding will sort things out when it matters.

So the lesson is SOS mean absolutely nothing according to AP voters. Good to know.

The lesson I see is that good wins can't really move you up at this time of the season, you only move up when teams ahead of you lose. Either that, or the voters don't consider winning two BigXII road games in a week to be unexpected for us.

This. The committee uses RPI as a major factor in seeding. They don't use the AP or coaches' polls at all. That's all you need to know.
