Is it just me or...

to be fair it was an ISU pity party a couple of weeks ago when cheezwizz left

Tell me something worth talking about for ISU right now. A WBB win over Vandy is great, but not going to keep listeners/viewers happy for an hour.

Two-three weeks ago, it was ALL ISU football with the coaching stuff.

How quickly people forget that ISU was the complete center of anything sports the last few weeks.

Let the Hawk whining/obsessions continue!

I still get a huge chuckle out of Hawk fans. When they were 3-3, people were calling for KOK and KF heads (even though now they deny this). Then they go and win with the easiest schedule in the world, beat a horribly bad South Carolina team and then claim they were a few plays from a BCS title game.

Hey, Survivor challenge is going on!!! Get to work so we beat you!!

Given this week, what ISU topic do you think should have taken equal time over an Iowa bowl blowout win, and a nine win season, Kirk NFL talk, etc?

UH?....Didn't CY the mascot win something? Surely an hour could be filled talking about that.:wideeyed:

its not that i want it to be a pity party for iowa state but there is only so much you can say about the iowa bowl win, kirk ferentz and their "should have been in the NC season". I mean just split it up with some other stuff and i loved the redneck hawkeye fan with he manzirre.

At the same time, it's hard not to laugh at the two faces the fanbase shows during the same season. They are funny people.

I know...right?

Cyclone fans are so much wiser. Take for example, ISU MBB and G-Mac. The number that is unhappy with him thus far continues to grow.

Should we suddenly start winning games, nothing would change on the fan end of things because the guy was losing games and they were upset with him - and that's how it's gonna stay.

You know, can't be two-faced and all like them silly Hawks...

:dull:

Exactly. I think you're getting it:yes:

Now, are we back to making fun of the Hawks?

You can't group these people together as the same people. I am sure they were 2 completely different groups. The whiney complainers come out stronger in bad times and the over-zealous morons come out during good times. It is the same with our fanbase.

It's not very often that I agree with Jon Miller, but the three weeks prior was all IState as they were talking about our coach change. Let's be honest to ourselves and realize that Cy winning the Capital one challenge is not the same as if our team won a bowl game and even with that, they had Cy on last night. I do wish they would have spent a little more time talking about our new OC, but I wouldn't go so far as to call Soundoff the hawk hour.

When hawk fans were complaining about all the IState talk with the new coach, we were making fun of those hawk fans. Seriously, joberman1, your making the cyclone fan base look bad.
