Iowa vs Penn State

You got your breaks last year.

Wow... you have a big program win tonight, and you celebrate by posting on your rivals message board? And not even the team you played? That's really sad. ISU lives rent free in your head.

You also claim we got all the "breaks" last year. Can you say what those were? our TO margin definitely wasn't 20+ in 4 games, and injuring the top 5 team we played qb.

Nope that’s football. Especially if you let your qb’s take hits via the running game. Eventually it catches up to you. Just watch, Adrian Martinez will be dinged up or out by the time they play Iowa. Yet everyone will claim “oh what a break for Iowa!”
Did you watch the game? He wasn't taking hits in the run game, and his injury wasn't due to a running game hit. It was due to hitting an elbow weird on a fall. At least have facts when you're trying to troll.

There’s quite literally a thread on the PSU versus Iowa game on your site that I’m commenting in. Who is living in who’s head? Sit this one out champ

The problem is the national media and your casual football fan will just look at the score and not realize how the game was won and lost. They will just assume Iowa is worthy of their ranking even though those who are paying attention know Iowa is only deserving of the title "Luckiest team in America."

There will be some people that will never give Iowa credit, but a lot of what people are saying is Iowa caught some crucial breaks which is true. Unless you have Alabama or Georgia talent, most teams need to catch those breaks and have the ball bounce their way to have a special season. To Iowa's credit they have taken advantage of the breaks and don't need to apologize for it.
Nobody on here is saying they have to apologize for it, but in the same light, they do not have to come on here in gloat about the fact either. They are a solid team, no they are not the #3 ranked team in the nation, but that is where they are ranked with a aTm chance to move up to #2.

But you have to admit, that they are playing above their talent level, and are catching every break in the world to play at that level. They are having a 2015 type of season, where they again miss OSU, defeat one of the better teams in the East and then cruise to the finals.
How much better of a chance to reach the Big 12 championship game would ISU have this year if we played neither OU or UT during the regular season and instead played Maryland and Indiana?

Iowa always chooses to receive the opening kick because they're built to play with a lead.
No. The reason Kirk does it from a story I read was that the only time he knows exactly what his roster looks like is at beginning of game and isn’t playing for later in game.

Probably not much when we can't even beat Baylor.
