Iowa vs Penn State

To be fair Iowa won today because Clifford got hurt
I’ll agree to disagree. Injuries are part of the game. Hell I played a game with a bad MCL. We have the worst special teams in college football. Iowa continuously pinned them in the 10 and that’s no small task for anyone.

Gimme a ******* break. You've never had any trouble giving ISU credit for a win when the other teams been without players. Isu doesn't beat ou last year in ames if all those guys don't miss for ou. It's part of the ******* game. You sound pathetic
ANd I would never claim games like that didnt involve luck... which is what these hok trolls are absolutely doing.

PS: How sad is it that after a big win, you spend time lurking on some other team's message board? Rent free in your head.

Yet they lose today without PSU losing their QB. That's lucky.
Nope that’s football. Especially if you let your qb’s take hits via the running game. Eventually it catches up to you. Just watch, Adrian Martinez will be dinged up or out by the time they play Iowa. Yet everyone will claim “oh what a break for Iowa!”

Think about that for a minute. Iowa was lucky because they tackle too hard, and their defense is too good for PSUs backup.

Iowa is also lucky, because they lost one of their best defensive players while celebrating a (lucky) interception. And they are so deep at CB, barely lost a beat.

Pure luck.

Imagine thinking a defensive back impacts the game as much as a backup QB.

If ISU played special teams like Iowa and didn't turn the ball over we would be 5-0 and ranked #3. But we suck at special teams and turn the ball over against good teams so we are very average instead.

Hire a special teams coach!!!

Come on herky act like you’ve be there before ridiculous blah blah. Don’t you ever give us **** again storming the field

Turning the other team over requires skill, and that is certainly a strength for Iowa. But there's also a significant amount of random luck involved and usually it evens out from year to year.

Iowa has collected 20 turnovers in 6 games and nobody else comes close to that, so there's no denying they've been blessed by the turnover gods.

I've never seen a team ranked so highly with such a below average QB and offense in general. Yet they figure out a way to win, so I give them credit.

Our game against Iowa was a perfect example. We had significantly more rushing yards, passing yards, total yards, yards per play, and first downs. Unfortunately, we also had more turnovers.
