Turning the other team over requires skill, and that is certainly a strength for Iowa. But there's also a significant amount of random luck involved and usually it evens out from year to year.
Iowa has collected 20 turnovers in 6 games and nobody else comes close to that, so there's no denying they've been blessed by the turnover gods.
I've never seen a team ranked so highly with such a below average QB and offense in general. Yet they figure out a way to win, so I give them credit.
Our game against Iowa was a perfect example. We had significantly more rushing yards, passing yards, total yards, yards per play, and first downs. Unfortunately, we also had more turnovers.
