Given Whitey is the best player in the Big10 (or was it country?) I figured Iowa might be favored?

Should be an interesting game.
 
#10 only gives 4.5 on a neutral floor against an unranked team?

If I was in Vegas I'd put some down on the Longhorns to cover.

Texas beat NDSU by 35... Iowa beat NDSU by 31... So I guess Iowa will cover with a 4 point loss though.
 
I cannot wait to watch Myles Turner and Woodbury. Turner looks like the real deal. Also, Isaiah Taylor will steal all of Gessell's and Clemmons' cookies.
 
It's so early in the season to try to figure out... it is interesting that they've both already played the Bison.
 
Mixed feelings on this game. If Texas is going to win, and I think they will, I want them to really blow Iowa out of the water. If it's going to be a close game though...I think I kind of want Iowa to win? It'd probably be enough to bump our date in Carver up to a chance at a Top 25 road win, which would be nice for our non-con resume.
 
Definitely intrested in this one. We know what Iowa is but I think Texas is a little over hyped. For as good as they started last year they were 4-6 in their last ten. Lots of talent just not sure Barnes is going to get much out of them.

The correct answer is: Never root for Iowa (except against Penn State).

They'll have plenty of time to make themselves a good resume booster (or not) the rest of the season, i'll be going for the big 12 team to boost our conference's resume as the conference schedule will be tough.
 
We need all Big 12 teams to win every game they can in the non-conference season against power 5 teams.

Particularly, we need to beat the Big 10 by as much as we can every game! Go Texas!

Plus, even if by some mistaken logic someone would want to root for Iowa :wink: , since we play Texas a minimum of 2 times, it is better for our RPI that Texas wins.
