Goldenrods can be used as a sustainable method to enrich soil with nitrogen. With an increase of nitrogen levels, there can then be an increase of vegetative growth.[3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldenrod Would seem to tie in with economic development.

Back in the 1980s there was an Adult Bookstore, etc etc in the West End of Davenport called "Goldenrod."

So, yeah, I'm right there with you.
