Iowa State Coaching Search - Coaching Bios

I put together a list of my top 15 candidates for the head coaching position at Iowa State. I included a picture of each candidate, a synopsis of how they are doing in 2006, a short background on each candidate and a link to their coaching bio. I thought it would make a good reference point for ISU fans as new names came to the forefront.

BTW - I really like Gary Patterson.

I saw this a little bit ago - really good stuff here folks. I'm going to stick this to the top until the search is over.
 
Great info, I'm still hooked on Price at UTEP. He's older than me (like dirt) however man did he turn that program in a hurry!

What we need now is more sources, rumors, posts with stupid "my source says", links to other Bio's, more names floated and crap that generally wastes my time. This week is a bust for sales so we might has well flood this site with rumors and insane observations.
 
Anyone remember what Loney could do with the Davis brothers? that would be fun to watch again (as long as we play defense this time around)
 
I am on Team Loney, except for this year at Arizona, everything he has done in college or the NFL for the past 10 years has been at the top of his respective league. Take a look at his bio, his credentials are outstanding and he is one of us, a 1973 graduate of ISU and has stated the Cyclone job is his dream job.

Don't hold the Arizona job against him, this is his first year on that job and their is more to that problem including Denny Greenes employment at the end of the year.

My question of the coaching search is why Steve Loney apparently is not even getting a sniff at this job?

Going on just sex appeal from pixcs, Bo Pelini and Harbaugh definitely lead this pack. Mike Price is too old.
