I know there are regulations in place for who can take wagers in Iowa but is there actually anything in place that penalizes an individual for using an offshore Sportsbook? Every article I’ve read on legal Sportsbook’s in Iowa simply says offshore books are riskier. Since they aren’t licensed to operate in Iowa you’re on your own if something goes wrong. Is that the only drawback?
