This article or poll by ESPN has Iowa ranked 59th in the nation and we are ranked 99th. I am surprised on how Iowa deserves a ranking that high. They suck and probably won't win another game in the season.

Louisville was like 70 something, Louisville would destroy iowa home or away...I can't argue our standing, but iowa doesn't deserve to be in the top 75 the way they are playing.

A win against Texas would REALLY help put some motivation and swagger back in ISU, and god knows we could use that, but it will take some big things to happen.

Technically, if the bowls are picked by the top so many teams, there are 31 or so bowls so that means that Iowa as of now would make a bowl. ********

Oh come now. They have wins against #98 and #115. They're a powerhouse.

Same old, same old. Undeserved cred. How and why, I will never understand. If we're #99, they should be in the high 80s TOPS. Low 90s would be more accurate.

They have Illinois, Michigan St. Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern and Western Michigan left. I expect 1 and maybe 2 wins out of the rest of the schedule.

Yeah they would be on the edge to making a bowl according to this. Maybe their "fans" got them the bid and the high ranking on this.
