Fair point. Not like they don’t have plenty of free tickets floating around for their events
This guy was in our section with a group of Poke fans from Chicago. Ironic thing was he is an Illini fan. Hence the Orange pants and wig. In any case it was a great Gullett.

Only Iowa games I've ever been to not vs ISU is here for some Gopher MBB and WBB. I don't think I've ever worn ISU gear to those but definitely cheer for the Gophers.

Now I'm just a little curious if anyone has almost gone over the first row of the balcony at Hilton. With so many bad referee calls over the years, it's probably inevitable that someone will someday go over. I'm sure Jamie is calling some of the companies that put up circus netting to catch the high wire acts to come to Ames and make our venues safe for all.
I do the same. I have a good friend who is a hok and a really good guy. He invites me when his hok friends can't go. I basically just sit and don't cheer either way. It's still fun to see big time ball even though it's the hoks especially when I get to see a MSU, Michigan or others and they win! I just kind of feel good inside without showing it.

Police documents made public Monday detail the recollections of a man who fell at least 25 feet at Iowa State University’s football stadium last month, as well as accounts from people injured when he struck them and other witnesses.
Same type of story here. My neighbor had a cousin who was a KU booster, had decent seats for hoops. The booster lived in St. Louis and didn't make it to many weekday games so my neighbor usually got the tickets. A few weekend games would get sprinkled in and we'd go hang out in Lawrence on Mass for awhile. I don't know how many games I went to over the years - maybe 30? It's still big time hoops and fun to watch, though it was sometimes hard not to openly root for the other team.
Saw them lose twice - once to OSU (the Marcus Smart years), once to Davidson at the Sprint Center (post Curry). We had amazing seats at the Sprint Center game. I caught a t-shirt, which I gave to the kid behind me. His Mom got mad at me because I didn't also give his brother a shirt and he cried. WTF lady?
