In honor of those who have served and currently serving....... Thank-you!!! With Monday's weather looking soggy again and you have afternoon to get your mind off the current CF threads, what are your 3 favorite War Movies you would like to watch (again)?

1. Patton
2. Gettysburg
3. Saving Private Ryan

Although I'm sure I'm one of the few that hasn't seen "American Sniper", sure it will be on some lists. Your thoughts?

1. All Quiet on the Western Front
2. The Bridge on the River Kwai
3. The Great Escape

In no particular order:
Saving Private Ryan (Best opening scene to any movie, ever)
We Were Soldiers
Band of Brothers (although, not a movie)

Hamburger hill. Full metal jacket. Saving Private Ryan. Hamburger hill actually uses formations and rushed like a real platoon. They actually showed us that movie in School of infantry in the Corps to show us what we were practicing

I vote for a perma-ban if anyone uncorks Pearl Harbor

(but extra credit for Rambo: First Blood Part 2 or Apocalypse Now)
