Ok, not sure if this very important question has been addressed previously but......
Will the United Center be serving beer during the Duke game??

I have not been in a few years, but I remember them selling beer at the Big 12 tourney, so I don't know why they would not sell beer at the United Center.

Thanks Chuck.
Yeah, I know that the United Center normally sells beer during Bulls games, but since this is a NCAA event, I don't know if there are certain regulations that prevent it.

Beer was sold at Arrowhead this year for the ISU/KSU football game...

Thanks Chuck.

This isn't the United Center, but at the UIC pavilion during the tourny over Thanksgiving they were selling beer. I think it has more to do with the venue, rather than the event.

I think it has to do with a little of both. For example, the venue could sell beer during regular season games but not if it was an NCAA tourney game. Thats what happens at the Qwest Center in Omaha. You can buy drinks during the regular season games but you couldn't when they hosted the 1st and 2nd rounds last year. Same thing goes on during the College World Series.

i hope they sell beer, i wanna be hammered for celebrating the victory. Or worse case drowning my sorrors

I went to the Duke/Iowa game at the UC about 7 years ago. They were definitely selling beer and there were definitely some fights in the stands.
