Looking around the forums today and I am seeing alot of negativity towards CPR, coaching staff, and players.

I've been a fan my whole life of this team, and I could not be any prouder to be a Cyclone as I am today. I AM ALL IN with who we have and what we have going forward. Everyone else should be too. Otherwise, I'm sure that the douchers in Iowa City would love to have you on board.

We're not Alabama, USC, Florida, etc. CPR is doing great with what he's got, and looking at the recruiting boards, can you honestly name the last time that our recruiting classes had 4 and 5* players? I love the direction we are going.

Once again, I'M ALL IN!

I am ALL IN, not ****** or mad, but disappointed. It's a football game and I am not going to let it effect my life the way some on here seem to.

We lost. Of course we're upset.

I'm still disgusted with that game Monday. I haven't burned my season tickets yet.

Your season tickets for next season have already arrived? I haven't even got my renewal forms yet!

The cyclone nation has never been more all-in... As such the fan base is searching for answers as hard as the coaching staff and players.

Sounds like you are getting some kind of secret coupon deal for being the most frequent poster here.

All the complaining is just a ploy.

Fine. I'll pull the curtain back a little bit, but not to brag.
I don't actually buy the tickets. JP provides them to have my influence handy. He shoots down early to Wilson Toyota, links up with Tron, and they get in that huge Cyclone Toyota Tundra to deliver the tickets to me.

It's a little awkward when they reach the apartment, because the doors are small for a guy built like Tron, but we make it work.

Now you know. Or something.

The reason that I am smarting about the loss, after having come down from disgusted and hacked off, is that I am ALL IN.

In past years after a bad loss under the old regimes, I have just shrugged and gone on with life, and I really didn't care that much because I didn't have ANY expectations for the team and the program.

Life is different now. I have expectations and hopes. Monday was a bad day, but life is good overall.

Cheers

Being all in and questioning results is possible. I thought this was America!

Somehow I can't help but think of the irony of this phrase now with the general and his mistress.

That being said, I'm All In and looking forward to seeing what CPR can do with these recruits.

Some people forget how bad ISU was in football 80's-90's...ouch. The fan base isn't going to disappear; it's growing and will continue to grow. I wouldn't be surprised if we see record sales numbers again next year. There are a lot of positives: back-to-back bowls, two in-a-row against our rival, Iowa State is getting the top recruits in the state, we are competitive in the Big 12, and putting together solid recruiting class.

I'm All In. I've moved on. Not worth wasting my mental energy on "if/buts." I have faith JP, CPR, and other staff will get things figured out. I know the players want to be coached and want to be better. They want to be in the weight room. You think we all have a yucky taste...how do you think they feel?

As you all know, it's not one thing....some of it are mental things to overcome, some is getting the right personnel on the field, plays to fit the players, recruiting, etc. I think we have the right guy leading us and he knows he has things to work on with the team.

Well said. My sentiments exactly. The program is dead if people don't care enough to get hacked off about a really bad performance. Life is great here today. Sunny and 50 degrees.
