IIIIIIIIIIII…. WILL

We used to do a tornado thing with our hands and then they changed it to shaking keys. Which might be the dumbest thing ever. Did it back in the 80’s. Think the cheer squad changed it

I remember the "key play" thing in Clyde Williams.

“In the olden days”…(1980’s) we shook our keys on 3rd downs (and 4th downs if opponents were going for it), get it? They were “key plays”!

Not sure when or why the key shaking was changed to kick offs?!? We used the swirly tornado motion on kick offs.

Yep exactly. The kickoff with the tornado motion was natural. The key thing actually made it more quiet in the stadium

A buddy had a really good idea:

At kickoffs, instead of the crowd just yelling “ahhhhhhhhhhhhh AH (kick)!”, we should say….

“IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII…….. WILL!! (kick)”

Good idea. But where the student's are now it won't have much impact.

While we’re talking about shoes at kickoffs (no idea why), can we also talk about ‘Roll Clones’. I really don’t get that one. Is that copying Roll Tide? Why?

C'mon, if Pedo State can get everybody to wear a white shirt on the same day we can do this!

I am totally jealous of their white out.

But I also remember being so disappointed when so many fans did not wear yellow for CBA. Maybe it wasn’t publicized well, but that was sad.

This actually does seem doable if the students start it off. And would be a great tribute.

Does anyone know why the students are taking off a shoe? Any meaning behind it?
I remember this first happening while I was in school (2010ish). The keys were dominant, but a small faction was insisting we all do the show thing because it's a kickoff (or we're booting the ball, pick your pun).

I was firmly in the keys camp and still think the shoe thing is stupid.
