Troy Butler, He is going play here, i have a good feeling about what he can do. He plays hard, Hits even harder, and is smart. Im impressed with the class we have thus far, But TB should be an immediate impact. Graduates in December too.

I want to hear "is fast, too". Hitting hard and getting burned all the time are not a good combination, just ask Iowa.

Who is this Troy Butler of whom you speak? Details man! Where is he from, what position does he play, has he committed?

Okay, me likey! I think that CC turns out some athletes also. I think I saw Hicks get some playing time Saturday and held his own. I like when we get pipelines going for players. If Hicks says the guy can play, he probably can play.

Dude just flies around the FB field and goes through people when he makes a hit. He is going to be a very nice addition. Put him in there with Banks and LJ and we are getting real salty in the defensive backfield.

WOW, hes a head bussa f'sho. in all seriousness, excellent closing speed, dude plays like a linebacker from his safety spot. looks tall for a safety too, even tho he is only listed at 6-1.

yeah, he is nothing new, but I got to meet him in week one and was impressed with what kind of guy he was. You can tell a natural football player when you meet one.

Im just getting excited for the secondary and the things this team will bring next year. had to share my thoughts

I love watching our d-backs running around laying the wood. It only takes one good hit if you're an opposing receiver and you remember it.

obviously you are seeing the type of players Chizik and coach Koonz want and have a track record with. Michael Griffin type guys... (if you were watching the MNF game)

Just a couple DT's and GC could solitify a Big 12 North title for next year......ok ok I am getting a head of myself a little bit - but I love his recruiting so far, fast and strong!!!! The previous regeime was slow and fat.

I am excited about Butler to. With losing 2 safteys it would be awesome to have Butler and Bates back there (if hed switch).

I really just hope we can get some solid d tackles with some size....Did anybody else see the alabama d-tackle at around 6-5 380 pounds....im sure its hard to run through that

Where im going with that is that with the tampa 2 you need a really good defensive line and good run stopping defensive tackles and right now we just lack that size inside
