If we don't win the Big XII this year...

oSu, Texas, K-State are not way down. Come on, man. This may be Gundy's best team if he can get his QB back. I do agree that this is a great opportunity for ISU given OU already has a home loss, and their next game is in Ames.

Texas just gave up a million points to tech and should have lost. They are down in my opinion. KState just lost to Ark St. and OKie St barely beat a bad Tulsa team. If those teams aren’t down, they sure as heck aren’t up in my opinion.

I think we are a LONGGGGG way from knowing who is what in the Big XII this year. And at some point there will be an important game missing some key players which will put an asterisk on this season. In fact, every team that doesn't win will want to put an asterisk on this season.

P.S. Quarterback play aside, I've been very underwhelmed by this years Okie St squad. And I've watched every snap they played. Lots of talent, but at this point a long way form a championship team. Much like ISU.

I think we'll be just as loaded next year as this year. We'll lose key players like Kolar, Bailey, and probably Purdy, but the young guys we have are really promising. Everyone on the o-line will be back, I think that could be a real dominant group.

Neither of these things are true.

And even they were this whole COVID thing makes the season fragile for every program. An entire position group could go down in the blink of a eye with quarantine.

I think Athlon's projected us to finish 4th (before COVID). It's not quite our time yet.

In a COVID year we could see any 1 of 9 teams to win it all. It's the team that manages contract tracing the best and lucks out on injuries.

Until we get by KSU we aint winning squat.

And I would like to hear the argument that supports KSU being way down.

It’s not about the purple kitties being down, it’s about given Covid, etc., the parity of the league is going to have a large impact and anything can happen.
