Dan's last game. Tough season. Do we rush the field at the end if we win....and how about if lose?

I think we should - unless we lose really-r-e-a-l-y badly.
 
A standing ovation... and cheering like he's never heard before will do good too. But "if" we win, ...by all means, get that guy up on someones shoulders and carry him off!
 
As an alum (then student) who's been on the field at Kinnick in '02 chanting "Cyclone State" to the wins over our hated neighbors to the West at Jack Trice in '02 and '04, as well as our huge win over Iowa in '05, by all means get this guy on the fans/players/students shoulders. I know that I'm somewhat sentimental :) but for what he's done for this Athletic Department, not just football, will transcend his career win/loss record here at ISU and deserves to be carried off like a hero.
