who would you cheer for? I hate the Hawks as much as the next guy, but I don't think I could bring myself to cheer for this coward that left us under any circumstance. Thoughts?

I would consider waving an Iowa flag. Okay, no I wouldn't.

But I would want Iowa to win 142-0. Then there wouldn't be any "small victories" for Gene to talk about.

Come on, man. Small victories turn into big ones, refuse to lose..etc

I'd hope somebody in the government "accidently" hits the red button and a bomb just nukes the stadium.

Not an entirely bad plan...

Preferably the game is in the South... I mean Iowa City sucks but the fallout would ruin the rest of the state. Besides, Iowa City is a nuclear free zone :biglaugh:

I think we the technology today, just keep the bomb to destroying the whole city and its population while vaporizing every hawkeye fan in the state, but somehow to manage to keep the good bars intact and uneffected by the blast.:biglaugh: oh man i'm going to have a good dream tonight.

Is this the reverse of one of those philosophical "if you could only save one person from dying" concepts?

I would cheer for Auburn, no question. But I would show up at the game, paying to have front row seats, and have a sign that reads,
"For the love of God, can you at least beat Iowa without having a 'quitter' make the defining play?"

On a serious note, if i had to choose, i'd pick Auburn as much as it pains, i just could never see myself ever cheering for the Hawks. But i'd make sure i'd get front row with a sign that was ripping on the quitter. Goal= to get kicked out of the game.

Anyone who really picks auburn is not a real Cyclone fan...it could be rephrased...who would you rather have? someone who just *****d you over or Iowa...them who we hate but really hasn't done anything.
