I was comparing the Hockey schedule and the home football schedule just now, and noticed that a quite a few of the home football games are the same day as some home hockey games.

I plan on going to several hockey games this season, and you would think the hockey and football games will not overlap.

So here's my question (This is especially important for the Iowa game, as I will likely be going to that alone): Say the hockey game is a day game, and the football game is a night game. Could I go to the ice arena for the hockey game, and park there, and then just walk to Jack Trice without consequence? No parking ticket, tow, etc.

Same goes for if there is a football day game, and a night hockey game.

Got drunk ice skating at the Ice Arena one time. Left my car there the whole weekend and nothing happened. This was in like February though

Plus new building that I think is for showing animals will be up by then, so there should plenty of parking hopefully.

Your trouble may come from someone who only cares about ice hockey and won't like seeing you walking to/from the football game while making them park farther away.

Make sure you look at the hockey schedule on the website before games because sometimes the game times change to accommodate football. That being said there have been a few games that overlap.
