Here is my story.

Selected passage from David Zabriskie, who said he pretty much found out about it on the forums:
He didn’t think Sanderson interviewing “was such a big deal, but then I haven’t heard anything in like a day.”

“I’m nervous,” he added. “But I haven’t heard anything either way.”

Mitch Mueller said he doesn’t have any idea on why Sanderson would interview for the job.

“That’s one thing that I really want to know, I guess,” Mueller said. “I’m not the only one that wants to know that too.”

so much for that link claiming Cael has talked to his wrestlers and informed them he was staying......

Bump/interesting

This is the content from Cael's last blog entry, which was posted on Tuesday:

Benjamin Franklin’s “Plan of Conduct”
1. It is necessary for me to be extremely frugal for sometime, till I have paid what I owe.
2. To endeavor to speak truth in every instance; to give nobody expectations that are not likely to be answered, but aim at sincerity in every word and action–the most amiable excellence in a rational being.
3. To apply myself industriously to whatever business I take in hand, and not divert my mind from my business by any foolish project of growing suddenly rich; for industry and patience are the surest means of plenty.
4. I resolve to speak ill of no man whatever, not even in a matter of truth; but rather by some means of truth; but rather by some means excuse the faults I hear changed upon others, and proper occasions speak all the good I know of everybody.
Advice doesnt get much better then that!

So if he leaves, we've been Chiziked. Speak one thing, do another.

On recruiting... does his recruits follow if he leaves.... ? We'll be screwed.

Could go either way. Basketball we lost a lot when our coach was sked to leave. Football (version Chiz)... the guys came together because they were abandond by their coach... they decided to play for the Iowa State family, not the guy who told them one thing and did another.

If he leaves, I'll feel really bad for the guys. A lot of the wrestlers are really good guys.
